I tried the pillow on the first night without water and was comfortable. I have arthritis in both shoulders and tried the minimum amount of water the night after and found it gave better support for me than a normal pillow or two. It’s not a miracle cure but I found it does help

After trying a large number of pillows including an £80 one my neck ache still continued. I was so surprised when this pillow arrived it was so so comfortable and has helped my neck pain . I have spent hundreds of pounds over the years trying to find a pillow that works. I've had every type including NASA developed memory foam, pocket sprung, and recently the number one specially shaped pillow none of which worked for me. Then in the comments on an ad for a different pillow someone mentioned a water pillow. It is early days I've had it about 2 weeks but wow it is the first time in years I've slept deeply and then not woken with a dreadful headache and stiff neck. Bought one for hubby too who has a stiff neck from years looking backwards on a forklift and it seems to be working for him too. Hubby filled his to be soft and I've done medium and so far so good. Would recommend without hesitation.

Yes reading the reviews, it says what it is!! First night very impressed waking up with no neck and back pain, this is with 4 litres of water. Went away the second night so empty it for travel, forgot the measuring jug so guessed it, nope wasn't having none of it ! So remember take a jug ! 8 days in and recommending to everyone I meet .

This pillow is the best I have ever bought. This item is so versatile and comfortable II would never revert to any other pillow. It has the great advantages of being washable also can be simply adjusted to suit its user.

Product looks good but only been using it for 1 day.

My brother recommended this pillow as I have tried almost every pillow under the sun to get a comfortable one.

The instructions for filling it up were good, the stopper and filler were also very efficient, no leakage at all so far. The pillow is comfortable but I can’t say I am sleeping any better on it but I have only used it for under a week so will give it time to settle in. It is not causing neck pain which other pillows have done in the past.

I have experienced neck stiffness on snd off for ages and I think this has contributed to my aching lower back pain.
When I recieved this pillow I decided to add 100mls of water at a time to get the right level of comfort for me. I have added in total 350mls. This is perfect so comfortable. I thought I might hear water sloshing about when changing position but this is not the case. The outer material covering the water section is soft and comfortable. I do not have anything negative to say. My neck stiffness has resolved and my lower back ache has gone after several days of using this pillow and some yoga for lower back pain. I have been stiffness and pain free for almost 2 weeks and counting

This pillow certainly helped me fall and stay asleep. The water level needs to be adjusted over time to get it just right.

I sent for this on reading all the positive reviews thinking it would solve the pain I get mainly in my Right shoulder across my neck towards my left shoulder which isn’t as bad. Although I fall asleep rather quickly I still wake up with the pain.. It was a relatively expensive pillow that hasn’t really worked for me I’m afraid sorry.

This worked to eliminate my wife's neckache which she had when waking from a nights sleep. It just took three adjustments to get the amount of water right. No sign of any leaks and as water only needs changing every year it will be fuss free. It's lovely and soft to lie on. Perfect. I'm ordering another for myself.

The pillow is quite heavy once you fill it with water. I have only had it a couple of weeks and I have been quite impressed so far. Excellent pillow! I bought 3 but planing to buy an other 2 for all my family. I had cervical spine surgery, bought lots of different pillows in the past but never felt as comfortable as this pillow. I have tried pretty much every pillow on the market, but constantly woke up with lower back pain. I tried this water pillow at a cousin's house and was amazed to wake up free from pain, so bought one and am finding it wasn't a fluke one off, this water pillow genuinely has sorted out my posture and neck and I have not experienced any tweaks, creaks or pains since buying it. highly recommend! I love this pillow. Forget the fact that I’m menopausal I like the cooling aspect it can offer… instead let me talk about that I no longer wake up with neck ache!

For years I’ve spent money on chiropractors and massages to help my neck. Turns out my stupidly pricey memory foam pillow was working against me.

This pillow is beautiful. I can just sink into it but get the support I need. I actually find myself looking forward to going to bed to enjoy sleeping on my pillow.

I won’t lie the first 24 hours was weird as I wasn’t used to sleeping on a water pillow but get past that and you won’t look back. My husband wants one now.

Had this item a few weeks now and unfortunately I am still unable to get the air out which is suppose to stop you hearing or feeling the slushing around if the water inside. Not as easy as the instructions make out.

I bought the pillow for my teenage son, who has been complaining about neck and shoulder pain. He first thought it was too large. We filled it to medium firmness and he has never mentioned it again, which means he likes it and it does the job for him. The design is simple yet effective and I like it. It’s tricky to find the ‘perfect’ pillow. This one can be adjusted to your personal needs (by how much water you fill into it), which I think is very useful. It was recommended by our Chiropractor. Happy purchase.

I was a bit dubious about buying a water pillow, but was frustrated with other orthopedic pillows which never seemed particularly comfortable. I have to say I am delighted with the water pillow. When you've worked out the right level of water for you, it is very supportive a super comfortable. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how fiddly it is to get the air out after filling it with water - takes a couple of tries but well worth persevering! I will only use this pillow going forward.

After a couple of tweets, I filled it too much but gradually reduced the quantity. It is now perfect and my neck pain has gone.

I actually bought one of these for myself several years ago having suffered from tension headaches for many years and wasting money on other neck pillows that didn't work. My daughter was waking every morning with headaches so I ordered one which arrived less than 24 hours later. She woke next day headache free and has not had one since - several weeks now.
I love the fact that this pillow is basically adjustable to your own needs - the only one I've ever found to be so - and, as such, is incredibly good value for money. For me it is up there with the electric toothbrush - once you've used it you could never go back to the old way.

I bought the pillow as I constantly wake up with a sore neck and a headache. I have been able to adjust the fullness of the pillow which is really useful. It seems to be helping with my neck and it feels comfortable to sleep on. It doesn't feel like you are sleeping on water but moulds to your shape. I would recommend it.

I filled the pillow with 3 litres of water which is designated average. I found the pillow very comfortable whether I slept on my back or one side, and the benefit to my neck was pretty much immediate.

unlike the waterbeds of old the special pouch keeps the water contined giving a good nights sleep unlike other products that need plumping up

This is my second Mediflow pillow my first lasted nearly ten years.
Bought again as it’s just the perfect pillow for my neck.
After having a neck/fusion operation ten years ago it’s helped with feeling comfortable in bed because of the movement in the pillow the water allows you to move your neck and head into the perfect position and get a good nights sleep.

Very pleased with the water pillow. Took a couple of attempts adding the water, too cold initially and managed to wet the pillow when emptying it. Use the funnel to empty as well as fill! Dried out quickly, added lukewarm water. Got used to pillow after 2-3 nights as advised and love it. Definitely and improvement on non-water pillows, much more comfortable. Thank you.

Was probably expecting too much from this pillow.
It is comfortable and slept well for the first week or so. The pillow has now flattened down so having to put a fold up towel underneath to higher it up a bit. Have added more water to see if that help but didn’t.
The delivery from Health and Care was excellent just the pillow is a little disappointing but will continue to use with extra padding.

I found the Pillow comfortable and the water allows a supportive and flexible component which can be adjusted to individual requirements. A rare and welcome innovation.

I may have filled it up too much and made it too hard as I woke up in agony which lasted for 2 days. I was so disappointed. I really thought I had found the pillow for me. I have tried so many pillows and never found one with neck support. I should try it again with less water but I'm too scared. I don't want to go through that pain again. If the instructions gave you an idea of how much water to put in for soft medium and hard, that would have helped.

Purchased 3 weeks ago, stil getting used to it and having just 1 pillow . However have to say my neck pain on waking has decreased. I suffer from Aura Migraines and these have also subsided so fingers crossed its with the help of the water pillow.

I was recently suffering from neck pain which may be due to having arthritis in my neck. Since using this pillow for the past few weeks my neck pain has gone.

What has been even more incredible is that I also suffer from arthritis of both hips and have spine stenosis.

I have had to learn to live with the pain and discomfort it causes but unexpectedly this

This pillow performs very well. It is easy to fill and empty in terms of making adjustments. The construction seems very robust and the pillow is certainly very comfortable to sleep on. There are so many pillows out there to choose from in terms of degree of comfort, height etc, it is wonderful to have a pillow that can be adjusted to individual requirements. When used as a prop for reading in bed, it provides good support for the back too, so a winner all round! Value for money and prompt delivery combine to make this a successful purchase in my book.

Before buying the Mediflow Water Base Orthopedic pillow, I used a memory foam orthopedic pillow.
Lately, I was waking up with a stiff and contracted neck. I tried turning the pillow to the higher side, better at first, but worse right afterwards.
As soon as I started to use the Water pillow, since the morning on day 1, my neck was feeling soft and flexible!!

I have been struggling with very bad neck ache so I decided to try a new pillow and I was not disappointed. The neck ache has completely gone I now wake up every morning with no pain at all.

Best pillow I have ever bought

This is not the first Mediflow pillow I've had, but a replacement for an old one. I only wish there were a way to get them refurbished, because it's such a waste to throw away the most expensive part (the water base) because the filling has gone flat. A better quality filling would be nice, but all in all, the best pillow I've yet found.

It takes the pressure off a sore neck, especially when turning over, when the water rolls with you instead of the pillow dragging.

I would recommend this pillow to anyone who wants wake up feeling awesome!

The pain I had every morning got significantly better after the 1st use of the pillow. The pain is not gone but I think one of the reasons is because it took me so long to find this pillow.

Speedy delivery of sound product

I thought I would try this out after doing some research on the best pillow for someone with neck and shoulder pain (from a trapped nerve in my neck). So far so good - not waking up with pain anymore. You can adjust the firmness of the pillow by filling it more or less water. Feels like a regular pillow, and better than memory foam in my opinion as no strong smell.

Having experienced neck problems for over 20 years, I am delighted that this pillow is so comfortable. I am sleeping more deeply and waking less during the night. It is also keeping my head cooler during hot flushes.

I have been using these pillows for many years now after trying many other types of pillow and these are the best. Sleep Well.

I bought this pillow after doing a lot of research online. I suffer with terrible neck pain and struggle to find a pillow that doesn't leave me in agony in the morning. I had high hopes for this pillow but it awful. The water sloshed around and actually I had no support at all for my neck. I tried all the different water levels and all were the same. The cushion cover over the water pouch is soft and flimsy and can't see it lasting more than a month or two. It is now confined to the cupboard until I either attempt to give it away or just throw it away. Complete waste of a lot of money

I have only had this pillow for just over a week. I am sure it is aligning my spine which was causing me real neck problems. The only down side was the water feeling cold on my shoulder through the fabric. It is early days, but my neck is improving due to sleeping properly with the pillow.

After having a long time of neck ache after sleeping I purchased the 'water pillow'. Waking on the first day of use I can categorically state that my neck pain was significantly reduced. I have had the pillow just over a week now and have no neck pain at all after sleep and I am sleeping more soundly. I would recommend this pillow if you have any neck issues around sleep, it honestly does work.

Brilliant pillow - I have had 3 now. The pillow can be adjusted to your comfort and may take a few tries to get it right. My neck and shoulder problems have gone since using this pillow. Did try something else in between replacements and nothing else compares. Highly recommended and Health and Care are an excellent supplier to deal with.

Have used these pillows for a few years now and I have always found the quality and comfort second to none I would recommend to anyone to try these pillows.

I bought this pillow out of desperation - every night, I was waking up during the night with terrible headaches that persisted throughout the day. They would diminish in the late afternoon, but then as soon as I went to bed, the pain came back. I knew it was my pillow. I tried about 6 traditional pillows of various densities and thickness, but they all had the same result. Thankfully, I saw some reviews of the Mediflow Water Pillow online, and gave it a go. I started with the medium amount of water the first night. I slept through the night without waking and had almost no pain in the morning. I let out a bit of water for the second night, and NO MORE PAIN! The spout fits perfectly into the pillow, preventing water spillage, and it is easy to top up or drain as needed. I love my pillow but I wasn't getting enough support for my neck. Since using the Mediflow it has helped so much with pain and I sleep better. If you follow insructions you don't get any noise.I really recommend this pillow.

This pillow may be a little more expensive than run-of-the-mill pillows but it is soooo worth it> Not only does it give fabulous support for the neck, but for a good night's sleep in general. And of course you can adjust the firmness with the water. I cannot praise this enough. Oh and delivery is very quick and efficient too!

I really like this pillow. I don't think I move all night. Too early to say whether it's helping my neck but it is amazingly comfortable. The pillow was delivered two days after ordering and totally hassle free.
