PMB Moisture Analyser 202

Moisture analysis is an important part of quality control in many laboratories and production companies. Designed to yield quick, accurate results, the PMB Moisture Analyser 202 is faster than both oven testing and the Karl Fischer titration method, and can measure up to 200g of product at a time.

Please note that a calibration certificate for this device must be purchased at the same time by ticking the box at the top of the page. You cannot purchase this certificate for a balance or scale that has already been ordered.

What Are Moisture Analysers?

Moisture analysers can determine the amount of liquid in a substance by weighing it, then drying it and re-weighing it again. The amount of mass lost can then be used to calculate moisture content.

Applications for the PMB Moisture Analyser 202

Suitable for figuring out moisture content in samples as large as 200g, the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser can be used in a number of industries including biological research, pharmaceutical manufacturing and food processing. It can carry out the following applications:

  • Weighing
  •  Moisture determination

What Is the Capacity of the PMB Moisture Analyser 202?

The PMB Moisture Analyser 202 has a reasonably large weight capacity of 200g, so can be used to dry relatively large samples. To help you measure your substances as accurately as possible, there is a visible capacity tracker on the display screen and an audible alarm that is triggered when this capacity is exceeded.

How Do I Use the PMB Moisture Analyser 202?

For optimum efficiency in busy lab settings, the PMB Moisture Analyser is designed to be as easy to operate as possible and features colour-coded keys highlighting commonly used functions. For further instructions on the set-up, calibration and use of your Moisture Analyser, refer to the PDF Instruction Manual below:

Ideal for Precision Testing

During a moisture analysis, it's vital you have as much control over the test conditions as possible. Offering extensive customisability, the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser offers a wide, adjustable temperature range, and three different drying procedures (constant, stepped or ramp-up). If your test does not require such exact precision, you can also choose from seven different pre-set drying modes.

How Efficient Is the PMB Moisture Analyser?

You won't have to waste any precious time during your tests thanks to the PMB Moisture Analyser. Its internal memory allows you to store up to 49 different recipes and 99 test results, enabling quick and efficient calibration. Ensuring you'll never forget to start an analysis, it can also be set to begin processing the moment the lid is shut.

Date and Time Printouts for Traceability

You can set your PMB Moisture Analyser to print a report after each configuration. In adherence with Good Laboratory Practise (GLP) guidelines, all printouts will be marked with the date, time, analyser number and confirmation of the calibration.

Security Feature

To help deter thieves and stop the balance from being taken to unauthorised areas, it is fitted with a slot for Kensington-type locks and cables. You can use this feature to secure your balance overnight, or to keep it from being moved off of a designated surface.
