Tumblecare Large Bed Pressure Sensor Pad

The Tumblecare Large Bed Pressure Sensor Pad is intended as an additional sensor for use with the TumbleCare Bed Leaving Alarm System with Pager. This hard-wearing sensor will reliably detect when a patient has left their bed, and is completely resistant to chlorine and disinfectant for an easy cleaning process.

How Does the TumbleCare Alarm System Work?

Designed to alert a carer when a patient leaves their bed, the bed sensor pad is placed under the patient's mattress, and detects their presence or the shift in weight when they leave the bed. The alarm control transmitter then sends a radio signal to the carer's pager, which produces an alarm. Only the pressure pad is included here, and is intended as an additional sensor for use with the TumbleCare Bed Leaving Alarm System with Pager.

How Big Is the Bed Sensor Pad?

The dimensions of the sensor pad are 750mm x 450mm x 8mm. This design ensures the resting area of the patient is properly covered, and is suitable for use with most bed and mattress types.

Can This System Monitor Several Patients at Once?

This additional sensor pad, when combined with a suitable transmitter such as the POCSAG Long-Range Multi-Function Transmitter, can be paired with the TumbleCare pager. The TumbleCare pager can be paired with 8 separate alarm transmitters. It can therefore be used to monitor up to 8 patients, ideal for a care home setting.
