Silipos HD-BK Heavy Duty Suspension Sleeve

The Silipos HD-BK Heavy Duty Suspension Sleeve is designed to be worn over a prosthetic leg to maximise comfort and flexibility while wearing a prothesis. The Silipos Heavy-Duty sleeve sets itself apart with an incredibly tough and durable flexy foundation fabric that takes pressure off the skin and increases the range of motion through the patella and residual limb.

Sizing Information for the Silipos HD-BK Suspension Sleeve

The Silipos Heavy-Duty Suspension Sleeve is available in three different sizes. To find the right one for you, simply measure the circumference of your thigh 15cm above the knee, as shown in the image below.

Once you have this measurement, please consult the table below before selecting the right size for you at the top of the page.

How Do I Apply My Silipos Suspension Sleeve?

To get the most out of your sleeve, we recommend doubling the fabric over and running your sleeve as far down your prosthetic limb as is comfortable. Lastly, take the bottom fold and double back on yourself, pulling your sleeve up to a position that is comfortable for you.

What Does the BK Heavy Duty Suspension Sleeve Offer?

The Silipos Suspension Sleeve is a thick and durable option for maximising comfort when wearing a lower limb prosthetic or residual limb. Perfect for reducing abrasions, irritation, flexibility issues and pressure on the skin, the Silipos Suspension Sleeve is made with spandex/nylon, making it one of the most flexible sleeves on the market.

Can I Wash My Suspension Sleeve?

To avoid shrinkage, it is advised that you wash your Suspension Sleeve by hand in warm water using soap or another mild detergent. Do not tumble dry or machine wash.

How Often Should I Wash My Sleeve?

We recommend washing your sleeve at least once a week to avoid sanitary issues like sweat and odour build-up.
