Treat-Eezi Community Pressure Relief Bed Sore Overlay
With a specially layered polyester fibre construction, the Treat-Eezi Community Pressure Relief Bed Sore Overlay offers an efficient and cost-effective alternative to air pump powered pressure relief cushions, pads and mattresses and is the first non-powered product to be trialled to heal stages 3 and 4 wounds. Made to treat patients who suffer from or are at a high risk of bed sores, it moulds to the shape of their body in both seated and lying down positions, and provides both pressure relief and reduced friction due to its zero shearing design.
Who Can Benefit from the Treat-Eezi Community Pressure Relief Bed Sore Overlay?
The Treat-Eezi Community Pressure Relief Bed Sore Overlay is designed specifically for patients with active pressure sores, or those at risk of developing them. Clinically proven to promote healing of Stage 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers, it can ensure users are able to achieve a comfortable night's rest as they recover.
How Comfortable Is the Treat-Eezi Community Pressure Relief Bed Sore Overlay?
To further prevent pressure build-up and friction exacerbated by moisture, the Treat-Eezi Overlay drains moisture to the bottom of the mattress, keeping users dry and comfortable. By combatting moisture, the Treat-Eezi Community Bed Sore Pad also creates a cool, temperature-regulated sleeping environment and prevents issues caused by sweating or overheating.
Can This Overlay Be Paired with a Seizure Alarm?
As Treat-Eezi products do not rely on electricity, unlike traditional alternating air mattresses, they do not set off monitor alarms. They can therefore be used alongside tonic clonic seizure alarms.
What Conditions Can the Treat-Eezi Overlay Help With?
The Treat-Eezi pressure relief overlay has been clinically proven to effectively aid stage 2, 3 and 4 pressure sores, and is the first non-powered overlay to be trialled for stage 3 and 4 pressure sores. As demonstrated by the NHS-lead evaluation of these trials which can be found in the documentation section below, this pad is an inexpensive and simple solution for patients with a high risk of pressure sores.
How Versatile Is the Treat-Eezi Bed Overlay?
The Treat-Eezi Community Bed Sore Pad can support patients continuously throughout the day and night, and its portable design can be easily transferred between beds and chairs (chairs must be foam-based). As shown by pressure scans (further explained in clinical data below), the bed overlay effectively reduces pressure on the user's body in both lying and sitting down positions. Of course, this effect is heightened by an increase in layers or by pairing with foam surfaces, so the ideal amount of pressure relief can be achieved for every patient.

What Kind Of Chairs Can the Bed Overlay Be Used On?
Its durable material construction both ensures the cushion can last through repeated adjustments and patient repositioning, and allows patients to sit on rear or forward titling chairs as it will not slide when the chair is bent forwards.
How Easy Is It to Use the Treat-Eezi Bed Overlay?
No pumps, electricity or power are needed for the Treat-Eezie Bed Overlay to be effective, making it far simpler to use than powered alternatives. As the Treat-Eezi Pad is also resistant to abrasion, it is sure to last long after purchase. It also comes with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty for your peace of mind (effective from the date of purchase).
Can I Clean the Treat-Eezi Community Bed Pad?
The Treat-Eezi Community Bed Sore Pad is easy to clean and can be machine washed frequently as well as bleached to avoid cross infection. The pad can also be placed inside a vapour-permeable cover which can be easily wiped down or replaced whenever necessary. Even if a cover is used, the bed pad should regularly be taken out of the cover and washed or shaken out and left to breathe.
