Can the Equazone Cushion Regulate Temperature?

The Equazone Premium thermo-regulating cushion can keep users cool. The cover utilises Coolover comfort technology, which prevent overheating for all day use.

How Do I Inflate the Equazone Cushion?

Your cushion has four valves that must be opened to inflate your cushion. After 30 seconds, push the valves back in and your cushion should be fully inflated and ready for immediate use.

How Do I Deflate the Cushion?

To deflate your cushion, unplug the four valves and roll it up, pushing the valves back in as your go. It can then be folded into two sections, ready for storage.

Are Different Sizes Available?

This cushion is available in a large or medium size. The medium size is 17" x 17", but can fit seat sizes between 16.5" x 16.5" and 18" x 18". The large size is 21" x 19" and can fit seat sizes between 20" x 18" and 22" x 20".

Does This Cushion Use a Pump?

This cushion doesn't require a pump, nor does it need any set-up prior to use. Simply open the valves and wait for it to inflate to the perfect, pre-set pressure relieving size.

Does This Cushion Come With a Cover?

This cushion is supplied with a specially designed cover. It helps to regulate temperature so users remain cool and comfortable all day, while its non-slip base ensures the cushion remains in its desired position.

Is the Cover Provided Waterproof?

The cover provided is water-resistant, meaning it will provide protection against light splashing and moisture exposure. It will not however, protect the cushion inside in the event of full submersion.

Is There a Maximum User Weight for the Equazone Cushion?

The Equazone Cushion has a maximum user weight of 40st or 254kg. It can safely accommodate a range of patients and is also suitable for bariatric use.

How Can I Clean My Cushion?

The cushion can be cleaned using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a neutral detergent. You can also use chlorine based cleaning solutions diluted to 1%, but avoid biological cleaners.
