When you're caring for a partly of fully dependent patient, turning them in bed can take a great deal of time that could otherwise be spent performing other important tasks within your role. The Etac SatinSheet Double 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet facilitates smoother side-to-side turning in bed, which helps improve patient independence and make the task of turning easier. This helps ensure your patient remains comfortable while also reducing their risk of pressure ulcers or sores.

Available in six different options to suit the needs of your patient and the size of their bed, the Etac SatinSheet 2D Maxi Base Sheet offers improved versatility to suit a wide range of user needs. It is advised that you measure the bed prior to choosing your base sheet.

The SatinSheet 2D Maxi Base Sheet makes it easier for you to move your patients from side to side and can even allow patients to perform the action partially by themselves, which helps to enhance their level of independence. This keeps your clients safe and healthy and can even help free up your time for more involved care tasks.

Reduce Friction

The Etac Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is a traditional base sheet with a slide area that covers the full length of the bed. This means that the patient can simply lie directly on the sheet with little concern about their position. The sheet also helps reduce friction between the bedding and nightwear to prevent chafing and pain during the day while also reducing the risk of pressure sores and ulcers.

Care Instructions

The Etac 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is suitable for machine washing at 80°C. Please note that fabric softener or bleach should not be used on this product. The sheet can be tumble dried but should not be dry cleaned, and is suitable for ironing on a low heat.

Please note that this version of the Maxi Base Sheet is not fitted and the bottom panel does not cover the entire width of the sheet. As a result, it will look slightly different to the base sheet pictured. If you prefer the sheet pictured, the Etac SatinSheet Fitted 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is available to purchase separately.
