How Secure Is the PediTurn Cushion?

The PediTurn is a slim, lightweight turnplate for floor use in transfer of patients in the seated position, where patients must rotate but are not capable of moving his/her legs without assistance. The PediTurn's TPE coating is strong and prevents most slippage, allowing patients to feel secure and safe in moving.

How Do I Use the Etac Immedia PediTurn Cushion?

1. Place PediTurn on the floor.
2. Position the user's feet on the middle of PediTurn so that the user's legs are perpendicular to the device.
3. When manually handling a user in the seated position, the user's legs will now follow the user, thus avoiding strain on the user's foot, knee and hip joints.
4. It is often beneficial to use SupportBelt, Sling or SmartMove with PediTurn.

What Cushions Are Available?

The Etac Immedia PediTurn is available in two versions:

• Soft: A soft cushion suitable when the user is not wearing shoes. It has a non-slip surface on both sides to avoid sliding out of position.
• Hard: A hard plate suitable when the user is wearing shoes.

Washing Instructions

1. Can be wiped clean.
2. Clean/disinfect the product using a standard non-abrasive cleaning agent with a pH between 5 and 9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution.
