How Secure Is the Positioning Wedge?

The Immedia Positioning Wedge is designed to remain static until pressure is applied to the vertical back. The main body of the wedge is constructed from non-slip polyurethane foam, whilst the cover is constructed from PU-dipped polyester, which repels potentially slippery liquids.

How Do I Use the Etac Immedia Positioning Wedge?

• The wedge is positioned beside the patient.
• We recommend using a Immedia MultiGlide Patient Slide Sheet beneath the patient to increase motion.
• Gently moving the wedge forwards, while pulling the slide sheet, users can turn/position patients for intended purposes.
