AmpSling Patient Lifting Sling

The AmpSling Patient Lifting Sling is designed for use in most common lifting situations, such as sitting transfers between bed and wheelchair, even where a sling without separated leg sections is preferred. The AmpSling has been specifically created to safely lift patients with double or high leg amputations, and offers full support from the tailbone up to the head and under the legs.

Secure Transfer of Amputees

The AmpSling Lifting Sling is a functional and comfortable lifting accessory that has been designed for use by patient with double and/high leg amputations. It is ideal to use for most common transfers such as from bed to wheelchair, chair to wheelchair, or wheelchair to toilet. The design makes it quick and easy for the carer to apply in preparation for a transfer or a lift.

Adjustable Leg Section

The sling features a leg section that can be adjusted from undivided to divided depending on preference. It also has a high back, supporting the patient from the under legs and tailbone, up to the top of their shoulders, giving them all full sense of security as they are being lifted.

Sizing of the AmpSling Patient Sling

The AmpSling is available in a choice of six different sizes, and is adaptable to be used in both 2- and 4-point suspension. It is essential to ensure that the width of the Sling Bar is appropriate for the sling size and the patient’s status and capacity. Please refer to the table below for more information about the sizing:

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?

This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.

Please note that though the sling can cope with a maximum weight load of 300kg, the recommended guidelines should still be followed.
