Due to its size and performance, the Oxford Midi 180 Mobile Hoist is ideally suited to community and nursing environments and also comes with a wide range of special features as well as a hydraulic and an electric option.

Special Features of the Oxford Midi 180 Mobile Hoist

The Oxford Midi 180 Mobile Hoist comes complete with a range of handy special features for improved efficacy for the user. The Oxford Midi 180 Mobile Hoist comes with the following features:

  • An on-board Smart Monitor diagnostic control box which provides the user with invaluable information regarding operational and service data

  • A choice of interchangeable spreader bars available in Paediatric, Standard, or Large in order to cater for a wide range of patient shapes and sizes. The Oxford Midi 180 Mobile Hoist includes a standard spreader bar as standard, other spreader bars are available as additional extras

  • Incredibly durable, high-grade Tente Castors that allow for excellent manoeuverability of a wide range of floor surfaces. The rear castors are also equipped with an easy-to-use foot brake for stability when the hoist is in use

  • An ergonomically-designed foot pedal that is positioned at an ideal position to decrease the risk of injury to the patient during use

  • A large and easy-to-use, ergonomically-designed push handle for increased manoeuverabilty

  • A manually-operated emergency descent function for increased patient safety in the event of an emergency
