TurnSheet Medium Sliding Aid

The TurnSheet Medium Sliding Aid is perfect for the pain-sensitive user who requires intensive and frequent care. This device is often used in hospitals and home care as unnecessary lifting is avoided when turning, meaning little strength is needed from the carer. It lies permanently in the bed and the soft surface on the upper side of the TurnSheet makes it very comfortable to lie on, covering all pressure points to efficiently prevent pressure sores from developing.

Versatile Anti-Slip Design

The TurnSheet is placed on a mattress cover which is smooth in the middle and has an anti-slip surface at the edges to minimise the risk of the user sliding out of the bed. The TurnSheet Medium Sliding Aid fits most common mattress types and sizes.

Features of the TurnSheet Medium Sliding Aid

If the TurnSheet is rolled up, it can be used as a retaining support behind a user’s back when lying on the side
The thin padding allows the TurnSheet to be used on top of different pressure-relieving mattresses
The soft micro-fibre material makes the TurnSheet comfortable in any position
The mattress cover features three slide panels which can be folded away, giving you the option to choose between low or high friction surface under the entire or part of the user's body

Improved Patient Positioning

Developed for heavier user, those with severely reduced functional abilities and patients who are at risk of developing bedsores, the TurnSheet also features soft, low-friction material that aids carers in easily turning patients.

The slide panels also enable improved positioning of the user in bed. For example, the slide panel under the hips can be folded away or removed completely to prevent the user from sliding down when attempting to sit up in bed.

Care Instructions for the TurnSheet Medium Sliding Aid

The TurnSheet Patient Sliding Aid should be washed in 70°C water and tumble-dried at low temperature. Low temperature for tumble-drying is 45 - 50°C/104 - 120°F. Do not use rinse/fabric softener and avoid tumble-drying at high temperatures for optimal service life.
