Medline Single Tread XX-LARGE/GREY Slipper Socks (One Pair) are a pair of anti-slip slipper socks designed to prevent patient and user falls in hospital and around the home. Manufactured with improved patient comfort and safety in mind, Medline Single Tread Socks are PPE certified, providing trusts and individuals with an inexpensive and affordable option for maximising comfort and safety.

Medline Single-Tread Slipper socks are available in eight sizes that are suitable for people of all ages and sizes. To find your best size, please match your UK shoe size to the table below.

Please note that the stated sizes are suitable for non-swollen feet. If your feet tend to swell up, we recommend you order a size up from your regular shoe size.

How Do Medline Single Tread Slipper Socks Feel?

A common complaint that patients have is that the socks they receive in hospital are either uncomfortable or far too baggy. Medline Single Tread Socks use a knitted cuff to adhere to the ankle, providing an excellent, tailored fit. 

They are designed and made from soft and comfortable fabric that doesn't itch, scratch or cause irritation to the user, no matter how long they're worn for.

Certified for use in hospitals and care homes, Medline Single Tread Socks are certified for use as PPE under the EU PPE Regulation 2016/425.

If you are looking for the same pair of gripping slipper socks that are used in hospitals, there is a good chance that Medline Single Tread Slipper Socks are the same as the ones that you received at the hospital.

Can I Wash Medline Single Tread Socks?

The Medline Single Tread Slipper Socks are designed primarily as a single-use item. This is mainly advised for hospitals and care homes, where there is a risk of patients' socks becoming mixed-up. However, if you are using the socks yourself or for a single user, they should last for at least a few washes before the socks become damaged.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Not super warm - they are, say, like a normal man's everyday sock - but sufficient. Easy to fit - over elasticated stockings. non-skid patches do work on shiny floor tiles, but would prefer that the width of patches be widened (old folk shuffle and socks tend to rotate walking on carpet) and hence skid resistance drops on shiny surfaces. O/A - seem to be suitable and VFM.
Colour range - grey - seems to be insufficient

Although sized as 9 - 11 (I take an 11 shoe) these were too small to get on my feet, past my ankle. I Would suggest ordering a size larger for safety. If they fitted then these would have been ideal.

Brilliant as mum has ulcerated legs and they are heavily bandaged and cannot get shoes or slippers on - she is in a care home and this allows her 2 get about

I bought the 'XX large' slipper socks for a friend who is unable to wear normal socks and shoes because his feet and ankles are very swollen. In actual fact they would barely fit me, and I do not have this problem. I bought them from you because you are supposed to be a medical company and should understand his very common condition, but this is obviously not the case. Worst of all though, you stress that the item cannot be returned, shame on you Health and Care, I will not be back. Incidentally, this is the first time I have ever submitted a bad review.
