Do These Sliding Aids Enable Movement In All Directions?

Yes, when placed on top of a SIBA satin base sheet, this draw sheet allows patients to be moved in all four directions as indicated by its white checked markings. They can therefore be turned from side to side, pulled downwards or upwards, and repositioned widthways on the bed. However, as this bed sheet only spans from shoulders to hips, it is not suitable for those who have very limited mobility in their lower bodies or necks.

How Does the Four-Way Bed Sheet Prevent Injury?

The drawstring can be tightened to the bed for a more secure fit, while the two holes at the bottom corners of the sheet mean it can be attached to dynamic mattresses.
