Who Is the Casualty Simulation Kit For?

This Advanced Moulage Kit is ideal for those training in the medical field, particularly those who will be working directly with patients in a variety of environments. Being able to bandage and care for wounds is a crucial skill in job-roles such as:

  • Emergency response personnel
  • Doctors and nurses
  • Paramedics
  • Care-home employees

How Does the Fake Blood Work?

There are a few options for fake blood in this kit, enabling you to create a variety of textures for different wound types. Fake blook options include:

  • A bottle of coagulant fake-blood to replicate a thick, semi-solid texture
  • Packs of blood powder (each to be mixed with 4.5 litres of liquid) can be used to make a thinner blood consistency than the bottle provided
  • Methyl cellulose provided to allow thickening of blood made with powder, so you can adjust to your desired consistency

Why Is There Plexiglass in This Moulage Kit?

The Plexiglass provided with the kit offers a safe way to simulate a glass embedded wound for training purposes. Plexiglass is a plastic material that looks like glass, allowing a realistic replica of a wound without the risk of injury.
