SafeHandlingSheet Patient Transfer Aid

For safe lifting and positioning of passive users with a two-point sling bar, look no further than the SafeHandlingSheet Patient Transfer Aid. The SafeHandlingSheet is used for horizontal lifting or positioning of a user in bed without subjecting the caregiver to unnecessary strain. It can be used in combination with mobile or stationary lift systems and a two-point sling bar, and is available in three different sizes, the largest of which is suitable for bariatric patients

Safe Patient Handling

The SafeHandlingSheet has been designed to safely move, lift and reposition patients with reduced mobility using ceiling or mobile lifts, so that carers are spared from having to handle heavy loads.

Available in sizes and variations to suit different users and situations, SafeHandlingSheet is made from easy-clean polyester materials.

Features of the SafeHandlingSheet

  • Eight lift straps, each with three alternative lift loops, on either side of the sheet
  • Lift loops are colour-coded for safe and easy application
  • Pockets for practical storage of lift straps
  • Positioning handles at the sides for easy, manual positioning
  • Safe weight load of 300 - 570 kg depending on sheet size

Optimal Transfer Situation

The SafeHandlingSheet features sixteen lift straps, eight on either side of the user, each with three alternative lift loops, enabling the optimal adaptation to the user and transfer situation. The lift loops are connected to the sling bar and when the user has been positioned, the lift straps are simply tucked under the mattress or placed in the pockets at the sides of the sheet.

Care Instructions

The SafeHandlingSheet Patient Transfer Aid can be machine washed in 60 - 85°C water; do not use rinsing aid. To prolong the life of your sheet, please avoid tumble-drying.
