Special Features of the Oxford Quickfit Sling
The Oxford Quickfit Sling is for use with patients that are completely dependent on the sling for support during use; it has an FIM Score of 1-2 which means that the sling is designed for use with patients requiring either 'Total Assistance' or 'Maximal Assistance'.
The different sizes of the Oxford Quickfit Sling are colour-coded for ease-of-recognition and centre-line markers help the carer to correctly position the patient in order to prevent injury and discomfort.
The Oxford Quickfit Sling is available in polyester, padded polyester, and netting options. The standard polyester comes in a grey colour that allows the carer to easily spot potential sources of contamination without being prone to staining; the Oxford Quickfit Sling is easily laundered. The padded polyester option is designed to provide additional comfort and support to delicate areas in order to further enhance the comfort of the user. The netting option of the Oxford Quickfit Sling is for use especially in wet conditions; the netting allows for fast draining and drying of the sling cutting down on the time needed to dry the sling between uses.
The Oxford Quickfit Sling comes complete with coloured loop straps that can be adjusted for the user's comfort and can be used in conjunction with the Oxford 6-Point Spreader Bar.
Handles have been added to the sides of the Oxford Quickfit Sling for increased control for the carer and the straps have been angled for maximum comfort.
