Special Features of the Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist

The Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist comes complete with a number of special features designed for maximum user and patient safety and efficacy. 

The Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist can be used in conjunction with either a standing or a transport sling which allows for the hoist to be used for a wide variety of care duties, including; toileting, standing, point-to-point transfers, and walking/rehabilitation.

The Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist's unique, adjustable cow-horn allows for the hoist to be used for an even greater variety of tasks than rival patient hoists. The adjustable cow-horn also allows for use with a wider range of patient heights than other hoists of this size providing maximum flexibility for the user.

Due to the Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist's foldable frame, the hoist can be safely and easily transported between care environments. The folding frame also decreases the amount of storage space necessary for the Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist which is ideal in care environments where space is limited. The folding mechanism of the Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist comes with quick-release technology that allows for the hoist to be folded or unfolded in seconds with the need of tools.

The Oxford Journey Mobile Hoist includes an adjustable knee pad and retractable safety belt in order to provide maximum safety and comfort for the user. The adjustable knee pad is also constructed from an easy-clean plastic to prevent cross-contamination when used with multiple patients. A removable foot tray is also provided and is manufactured from the same easy-clean plastic.
