If you lead an active life playing sports, hiking, or even standing for long periods of time throughout the day, you can suffer from fatigue and discomfort in your feet - particularly in your heels. The Sorbothane Shock Stopper Heels Pads help relieve fatigue and calf strain and are ideal for use in any type of footwear.

Please note that Sorbothane Shock Stopper Heel Pads have recently changed their design. As such, the insoles you receive may differ slightly in appearance during this transition period.

Sorbothane Shock Stopper Heel Pads are available in three different sizes. To find the right one for you, simply match your UK shoe size to the sizing chart below.

If you're after a more accurate and tailored fit, we recommend removing an existing heel pad and measuring it at the longest and widest point. This ensures that your new heel pads fit just as well as your current pair.

How Do I Fit my Shock Stopper Heel Pads?

A common question we get is "how do I fit my heel pads?" Thankfully, the answer is simple! Simply place your heel pads into the back of a shoe with the tacky, red side down. Press down gently and watch as they adhere to the fabric of your shoe insole. They will stick firmly to the sole but remain easy to remove if you choose to wear a different pair of shoes!

Shock Absorption

Sorbothane's Heel Pads provide pure shock absorption where most of the impact occurs: on the heel. They are easy to fit to all kinds of shoes and provide firm support and comfort, making them an ideal, everyday solution for heel protection. The pads can be transferred to different shoes according to your needs as they do not use any adhesive to stick to the shoe.

Treats and Prevents a Range of Conditions

The Shock Stopper Heel Pads can be used for the treatment of Achilles tendinitis and other foot conditions and can also help prevent shin splints. Sorbothane's total control top sheet contains advanced, antibacterial Nano Silver technology to kill bacteria on contact, wicking moisture away from your skin and managing odour for optimal hygiene and comfort.

Anyone requiring heel cushioning and shock impact protection would also benefit from wearing these Sorbothane Heel Pads. The pads are ideal for use in shoes that do not accommodate full length insoles, such as minimal or barefoot running shoes, and football boots.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

I have a problem with my ankle and these were recommended by a physio. They are very helpful. Cushioning my heel and helping a lot. Delivery was the next day I was very impressed I will definitely use this company again.

Heel shock absorbers

My physio gave me one to put in my shoe because I have one leg longer than the other, pending second hip replacement operation.
The effect was immediate and has helped to walk in a more balanced way, ie reduced lurching from side to side.
I bought a spare to put in another pair of shoes.
Would be nice to buy single items because I don't need a right one.

Was running with a sore calf for years, always resting, foam rolling and stretching but nothing was really working. Thought I would try these heel pads and have helped soooo much! Well worth it.

I've been using these for 20 years as I have one leg slightly shorter than the other and just need a little lift. I use them in every shoe, boot, or flip flops or sandals. If I was using them as shock absorbers in both shoes, they would definitely be effective. I was amazed that they arrived the next day even in lockdown! Excellent, long lasting product and excellent service.
