How to Claim Your VAT Exemption

VAT exemption can be claimed in two ways – either when placing your or order or claiming back the VAT on a purchase that you have already made.

Claiming VAT Exemption When Ordering

To remove the VAT from your order when placing your purchase, simply select the option for VAT relief on the Basket page (see below for an example of how this looks).

If you select this form on the basket, there will be extra information you will be required to provide on the checkout to confirm your elligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are buying multiple products that are available with VAT relief, please ensure that all of these are selected when placing your order.

Claiming Your VAT After Placing Your Order

If you did not claim VAT relief when placing your order but would like to receive VAT relief, don't worry, this can be done after your order has been placed. To do this, simply fill in the form below.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Returns Policy - This Item Is Not Returnable On Grounds Of Hygiene

This item is non-returnable and non-refundable on grounds of hygiene.

Please note, Health and Care is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of hygiene for all of its products and for this reason this item is non-refundable and non-returnable if unsuitable or unwanted on grounds of hygiene.

Washing Instructions

In line with infection control guidelines, the Swift sheets should be washed prior to use. This also ensures an optimum fit for the first use.

• Please treat these sheets as a synthetic and therefore use a standard cycle for synthetic fabrics
• Suitable for use in a continuous batch washer (CBW)
• Maximum main wash temperature: 90°C (65 - 71°C or above achieves thermal disinfection)
• It is advised that the load should be around 85 - 90% of the washer capacity for washing and drying
• In washer extractors, use a reverse temperature wash process to avoid thermal shock or creasing
• Operating the final rinse at around 40°C facilitates faster evaporation rates during tumbling
• Please wash as 100% polyester or 50/50 polyester/cotton

Drying Instructions

• Please note that exact settings will vary by dryer
• As a guideline, dryers should be able to dry a load in 20 to 30 minutes at a medium to high heat (including a cool down time of approximately five minutes)
• Please remove the load as soon as the dry cycle is completed to avoid over drying

Additional Information

• Please avoid the use of bleach as this can cause colour loss
• Do not over dry as this can accelerate deterioration, increase creasing and cause excessive shrinking
• Do not iron as this can damage the natural stretch of the fabric
