Available in five different sizes for either your left or right side, the Thermoskin Support is designed to support those with a hip or groin injury. To find out which size best suits you, simply measure around the widest part of your upper-thigh and refer to the table below:

How Does a Correctly Sized Support Feel?

What If My Support Is Uncomfortable?

It can take some time to acclimatise to wearing a garment like the Hip and Groin Support. If it's initially uncomfortable, we recommend wearing your support for a short period and increasing wear time little by little every day. 

This discomfort usually indicates that your support is providing the firm compression your thigh and groin needs.

Why Does Firm Compression Matter?

Light but firm compression works wonders for recovery. As we mention above, your Hip and Groin Support should feel snug and compressive in order to increase blood-flow, enhance healing and reduce swelling.

How Large Is the Support's Waistband?

We advise you measure the circumference of your thigh because this is the area where the Hip and Groin Support is fitted. The support also features a generously sized waistband which is fastened via a Velcro pad, allowing you to fix your support into position depending on how tight or loose you would like your fit.

How Do I Fit My Hip and Groin Support?

To fit the support, follow these three simple steps below:

1. Slip your leg through the support
2. Position the support so that the waistband sits comfortably around your waist
3. Once in the correct position, fasten the Velcro strap to secure the support

Apply the support directly onto the skin. Avoid using oils, ointments or liniments under the support.

Can I Wear the Support on either My Left or Right Side?

How Long Can I Use the Hip and Groin Support for and When?

While you can wear the Thermoskin Support for however long you want, it is recommended that you wash the support every two to three days after use for hygiene reasons. The support is also suitable for use in most places including at home, in bed and even while playing sport. 

How Discreet Is the Thermoskin Support?

This Thermoskin Hip and Groin Support is very thin and so can be worn underneath your clothes without it being visible to other people. 

Will the Support Affect My Dexterity While Walking?

The Thermoskin Hip and Groin Support is designed to bend and stretch with your skin, meaning you can walk with total ease whilst wearing the support.

Maintenance of the Thermoskin Support

You should wash the support every two to three days for normal use and once a day if used during sport.

How Do I Wash the Support?

To clean the support, machine or handwash using a mild soap before leaving to air dry. Avoid using powdered detergents or solvents.

Please note that this product is not intended for use for up to 72 hours after an acute injury. This support also contains a synthetic fibre which may cause allergic reaction.
