Which Size Is Right for Me?

The Comfizz Two-Piece Support Belt is available in four sizes that should suit most adults. To find the perfect size, please measure your waist and consult the table below.

If herniated, lie on your back and wait for 5 minutes for the hernia to relax before measuring.

Note: If your measurement falls between sizes, order the size up.

Which Aperture Size Do I Need?

To find out the aperture of your ostomy device, fold the flange back (shown in image below) to where it's attached to the cloth bag. Measure from one side to the other to get the size you require. This belt is available with apertures of 60mm, 75mm and 90mm.

Note: If your size falls between two sizes, always choose the larger size.

How Do I Wear the Comfizz Two-Piece Support Belt?

The Comfizz belt comes with a Velcro fastening system to help you achieve the perfect fit.

1. Wrap the support belt around your waist with your stoma positioned at the aperture
2. Ensure a snug fit by using the Velcro fastening strap
3. Attach your ostomy bag to your stoma through the aperture
4. Hold your ostomy bag secure using the fastening strap

The optional stoma protector in the image is not included but can be purchased from our website.

What Does Level 3 Support Mean?

Comfizz belts graded Level 3 have stabilising ribs to evenly spread pressure and offer the maximum support from our range. They're designed to be worn for shorter periods such as during strenuous sports, heavy lifting or for supporting larger abdominal hernias.

How Comfortable Is This Belt?

Great care has been taken to ensure this support belt is comfortable for the user whilst securing your stoma and ostomy bag. It's constructed with flexible fabric with high air permeability and wicking properties so that it feels soft on the skin.

How Hygienic Is This Support Belt?

It's often the front of a belt that is likely to get soiled when you get leakages. However, with this Comfizz two-piece belt, you can simply remove the front panel and wash it without having to replace the whole belt.

Will This Belt Restrict the Flow of My Stoma?

No. Although it prevents your stoma bag from moving about during activities, this belt won't restrict the flow or put unnecessary pressure on it to restrict flow.

Why Is This Belt Cost-Effective?

As the set comes with two front panels, you effectively get two firm support belts for the price of one. You can refresh the front panels as frequently as required without the need for two separate belts.

However, you can purchase Comfizz Replacement Front Pads to maintain optimum hygiene for times when you can't wash soiled pads.

Can I Wash the Comfizz Support Belt?

Yes, this belt can be machine washed at 30°C. However, it is not suitable for any of the following:
