Ambulatory Pressure Relief Boot

Pressure sores (also known as pressure ulcers) can become a painful and distressing condition, and proper patient care is vital to a successful recovery.  The Ambulatory Pressure Relief Boot is designed to offload pressure on the patient's heel as they move about, reducing the chances of developing a heel ulcer or preventing deterioration of one that is already present.

Indications for Use

The Ambulatory Pressure Relief Boot is recommended for:

  • Heel ulcer prevention and treatment
  • Lower level ambulation with heel pressure relief
  • Prevention of ankle contractures

In Bed and On the Move

The Ambulatory Pressure Relief Boot can be used by both ambulatory and bedbound patients, as it features an easily removable sole plate that can be taken off when the device needs to be worn in bed. The blue liner is also removable for laundering to ensure patient comfort and compliance.
