Product Details

Rolyan D-Ring Wrist Splint with MCP Support

The Rolyan D-Ring Wrist Splint with MCP Support treats pain and discomfort caused by wrist disorders, while also supporting the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints. It combines dense support with flexibility for supported hand use.

Benefits of the D-Ring Wrist Splint

The D-Ring Wrist Splint is non-elastic in construction, so it does not restrict circulation when worn on the wrist. The brace is held securely in position due to the circumferential design, offering a reliable application.

The brace also offers tension control, as the D-ring closures can be adjusted to alter the amount of support provided. It also includes a double layer of cotton stockinette beneath the closures provides cushioning to the straps.

Benefits of MCP Support

In addition to the support provided to the wrist, the D-Ring Wrist Splint also offers support to the MCP joints. The foam pad is moulded for optimal protection of the metacarpal area, meaning the lower knuckles can be treated at the same time as the wrist.

Although the foam is dense for increased protection, this does not hinder the flexibility of the hand. The splint still enables functional hand use, making the splint ideal for frequent and extended use.

Indications of the Wrist Splint with MCP Support

The Wrist Splint has been designed to treat the pain and discomfort that arises as a result of wrist disorders. It is suitable for patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and tendonitis.

Whether bought by the individual for use at home, or purchased as part of ongoing patient treatment at a clinic, the D-Ring Wrist Splint with MCP Support will benefit a variety of wrist and MCP issues.

Sizing of the Wrist Splint

The D-Ring Wrist Splint is available for both the right and the left hand, with a choice of five sizes. To determine the size required, measure the circumference of the wrist. Your chosen size can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Bought to support son's broken pinky once out of plaster. Looks like it will do the job.

I bought this support as I have hand and wrist pain from too much mouse use on my computer.
It seems to help a bit, but the hand strap is a little bulky really for using my mouse - it makes it difficult.

I cannot give it top marks because of the high price - it's just not worth that much money. It seems to me that all disability and medical aids are over-priced.
