Drive Medical 12" Suction Grab Rail

The Drive Medical 12" Suction Grab Rail provides invaluable assistance for elderly or disabled users when sitting down or standing up. It is ideal for use on a shower wall, in the bath mounted on the tub, or positioned near a chair or stairwell.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Suction Grab Rail

One suction grab rail is included, which is suitable for most users requiring support when sitting or standing. However, you may find that two are required, for example if positioning them at either side of the bath tub; please add two grab bars to your basket if this is the case.

How Can the Suction Grab Bar Help?

For some individuals, whether due to an illness, disability, or old age, sitting down or standing up can be a slow and painful process when unaided. By installing a suction grab rail, users can rely on the rail for support, similar to using a walking cane or holding onto somebody's hand for improved balance.

Please note that the Suction Grab Bar is not decided to take the entirety of the user's weight. It is for assistance only.

How Long Is the Suction Grab Rail?

The Drive Medical Suction Grab Rail features a length of 12 inches (one foot). This means it should fit comfortably on most walls in a bathroom or around the home, while providing enough space for the user to place their hand comfortably.

How Easy Is the Suction Grab Rail to Install?

Absolutely useless. Stays on the wall for 10 mins max then falls off. Will be returning product and requesting a full refund

Easy to fit and remove and very secure. Only problem is that is too large to fit in our quadrant shower without hitting it constantly. It has instead been used to make safer access to a bath.

Excellent quality product which sticks like glue to the wetwalls in our shower room. It is very handy to be able to quickly relocate the grab rail to suit different people.

The rail works well. It looks slightly inelegant, but that is not important. It would have been helpful if the advertising blurb pointed out that it does not work across grouting and also that it is not intended to take the full weight of a body only as support. I would probably still have bought it.
