TheraBand FlexBar Resistance Exerciser

Resistance training is important for rehabilitation after injury or illness, helping patients regain their strength and independence. Because of this, it's vital that exercises can be comfortable to perform and versatile to best aid recovery.

The lightweight and portable TheraBand FlexBar Resistance Exerciser exerciser has been specifically designed to improve grip-strength and upper extremity function, helping physical therapy patients and anyone looking to develop their fitness gain strength in hands and muscles.

Simple and Effective

The simple design of the FlexBar makes it easy for users to get the most out of it. Its rigid surface is ideal for users with reduced grip, such as individuals with arthritis, helping them develop their strength and their independence. 

It enables you to perform a wide range of exercises, including:

  • Activity simulations
  • Wrist abduction
  • Thumb strengthening
  • Eccentric twists
  • Soft tissue manipulation

This enables the FlexBar to strengthen hands, wrists, forearms, elbows and even shoulders – perfect for strengthening grip and upper extremity strength; enabling oscillation movements for neuromuscular and balance training; and providing soft tissue and joint mobilisation.

Available in Four Resistances

To best aid you in your strength development, the FlexBar is available in four resistances. This enables you to progress in strength training, ensuring proper development takes place. Each resistance is colour coded for easy identification and indication of your progress. The available resistances are:

Colour Resistance Force Required to Bend 90°
Yellow Light 0.2kg (6 lbs)
Red Easy 4.5kg (10 lbs)
Green Medium 6.8kg (15 lbs)
Blue Hard 11.3kg (25 lbs)

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Ordered the therabar. Turned up real quick. No issues.
Not used it yet as my arms are too sore. But would definitely recommend the website.

Tennis elbow...because of rowing... this injury is a long term fix with ups and downs I have been working on it and I feel better after doing the exercise of twisting the wrist of the damaged elbow. I would recommended to every one with the same issue. Still in recovery but definitely getting better.

This is a great product however I would recommend a smaller size than the blue for rehab or for issues such as golfers or tennis elbow. The blue version is very powerful even for elite level athletes. This is a great grip working tool and is useful for many variations of hand movements. Ideally for rehab go with a smaller size where you can create more stretch and control.

after just one week of doing daily Tyler Twist exercises my tennis elbow injury seems to be on the mend, so hopefully I will be lifting weights again soon.

I had these bars recommended to me by my GP as treatment for tennis elbow. The video instructions online are easy to follow and I can feel that the exercises are stretching the right area - the only downside is that they are fairly uncomfortable to do and leave my arm sore and aching. Hopefully as I progress through the different colours that will subside!
