What Is Metatarsalgia?

Metatarsalgia is a general term given when pain is originating out from the ball of the foot as this is where the heads of the metatarsals bones are positioned. While some conditions might need further investigation, others can be treated simply by a change in footwear or added support to the foot.

Sizing Information for FootActive Full Length Insoles

How Do the Metatarsalgia Insoles Work?

Features of the FootActive Metatarsalgia Insoles

FootActive Metatarsalgia Insoles support all parts of the foot, thereby alleviating pressure in the arch and metatarsal. A deep heel cup and metatarsal raise hold the foot in a healthy position, while padding in the heel and metatarsal reduce impact force from walking or running.

Are the FootActive Metatarsalgia Insoles Right for Me?

These insoles are perfect if you require more support around your arch and metatarsal (ball of the foot), or if you need better shock absorption in your heel and forefoot. They can also help you to manage a number of conditions, including:

  • Metatarsalgia (ball of foot pain)
  • Morton's Neuroma
  • Fallen arches
  • Flat feet
  • Friction injuries
  • Over-Pronation

What Makes the FootActive Metatarsalgia Insoles Different?

FootActive Metatarsalgia Full Length Insoles Supports the Transverse Arch

The FootActive Metatarsalgia Insoles are very capable at improving symptoms of metatarsalgia due to their biomechanical shape, which supports the transverse arch of the foot. Their extended length also ensures every part of the foot is protected from strain, setting them apart from other metatarsal insoles on the market.

Features of FootActive Full Length Insoles

  • Insoles effectively treat symptoms of metatarsalgia
  • Exceptional comfort and breathability
  • Shock absorption in the heel and forefoot
  • Heel cup and arch support hold the foot in a desirable position
  • Designed to fit most types of lace-up shoes

What Kind Of Shoes Will These Insoles Fit?

The FootActive Full Length Insoles should fit comfortably in most lace-up shoes, whether they're trainers or work boots. As they don't adhere to the inside of the shoe, they can be easily lifted out of one pair and placed in another whenever necessary.

What Are These Insoles Made Of?

These insoles are designed to be as comfortable as possible. To guarantee this, they are made from a combination of EVA foam and polyurethane, a construction so lightweight and breathable you'll barely notice you're wearing them.

This type of insole was recommended by a podiatrist for metatarsal head pain. Was very pleased to find that it has significantly improved my foot pain & will hopefully allow the inflammed joints to heal.

I have really flatt feet and have national health inserts in my shoes. However they are a few years old and could not get a hospital appointment. I sent for these medical inserts and they are excellent. Really good service. They arrived the next day after ordering.
