Designed to improve comfort and access during plaster casting sessions, the Medicare Electric Orthopaedic Couch with Electric Tilt and Backrest is a practical and adjustable couch with a range of specially designed features. It is constructed with an antibacterial powder-coated frame for improved hygiene, and features extendable and individually adjustable legs to ensure optimal patient comfort during treatments. With the ability to adjust the couch into a Trendelenburg tilt position, the couch is versatile enough for a number of different procedures.

Enhances Comfort During Plaster Casting 

The Orthopaedic Couch has been designed to improve comfort for both the patient and the medical professional applying the plaster cast. It can be adjusted in height, and the backrest and footrest angles can also be altered to suit the needs of different patients. With the ability to adjust the couch into a Trendelenburg position, a greater variety of angles can be achieved.

The footrests can also be individually altered, ideal for finding optimal positioning when applying a plaster cast to one leg. The footrests are extendable, making the couch ideal for accommodating taller patients.

Safer Access

With a height range of between 52cm and 106cm, the Electric Orthopaedic Couch improves safety for both patient and medical professional by ensuring patients can access the couch more easily and reducing the need for orthopaedic surgeons to bend down unnecessarily. With retractable wheels and an adjustable foot for stability, the couch can also be manoeuvred between rooms and then steadily set in place as required.

Improves Hygiene

The frame of the Medicare Orthopaedic Couch is antibacterial powder coated. This makes it a practical option for medical environments where good hygiene maintenance is paramount to ensuring patient health and safety. 

Available Colours

The Medicare Orthopaedic Couch is available in a choice of 15 colours. The following colours are available: Brown, Black, Burgundy, Canard, Cream, Dark Blue, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Lotus Green, Olive, Pepper, Poterie, Red, Sky Blue, and White.

Please note that Dark Blue is the standard upholstery colour, and therefore has a quicker lead time of around 7 to 10 days. If you require any other available colour, there will be a longer delivery time as your item will be made to order. Please see the Delivery tab for more details.
