LP Neoprene Knee Support with Open Patella

The knee can often become an uncomfortable source of pain due to overuse, injury, or just general stresses from daily wear and tear. The LP Neoprene Knee Support with Open Patella is designed to relieve this pain by providing comfortable and compression to the area around the patella. Made of the highest grade closed-cell neoprene, this Support is extremely comfortable and is especially useful for post-operative knee problems, strains, arthritis and general abrasion protection.

This Knee Support is available in five sizes. Select your desired size by using the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Patella Support and Protection

The open design of this Knee Support allows the brace to stabilise the patella, preventing displacement and excessive kneecap movement. Around the open patella is an oval pad that provides extra protection to the knee joint from injuries resulting from impact.

Stability and Compression

By supplying pressure to the weakest area of your knee, this knee brace helps to stabilise the area to reduce the risk of injury aggravation. The compression reduces the eccentric contraction of the quadriceps tendon that extends to the knee, helping to improve performance and prevent fatigue. It can fit comfortably under clothing, and is perfect for post-operative knee support as well as treatment of strains and arthritis.

Neoprene Heat Retention

The LP Neoprene Knee Support with Open Patella is made with the highest grade of closed-cell neoprene, covered with a stretchy nylon on either side for comfort. Neoprene is an excellent material for both compression and heat retention, making it perfect for use on supports and braces. The neoprene of this support will retain body heat in the knee, keeping the area warm and increasing blood circulation to promote proper healing.

To determine which size is right for you, measure the circumference of your knee around the centre of the patella with your leg fully extended.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Too constrictive

Although the quality of the item is very good, the XL sizing is still on the small size & became too uncomfortable to wear after a couple of hours, so an alternative had to be purchased. An XXL option would probably have been better but isn't an option with this item. For others with smaller legs, this may be ideal but it's not for me.

I'm happy with this - not too expensive but seems to support my ligament issue when I put extra strain on it.

Good quality firm support enabled me to carry on playing badminton. Easier to get on if you fold back the top half and pull on. Would buy again
