Amplified Cordless Telephone
The AmpliDECT 295 Amplified Cordless Phone has an adjustable receiver volume of up to 30dB, so you don't have to worry about not being able to hear the phone ringing. It can be kept in its cradle when not in use, while its cordless nature allows you to carry it with you around your home, receiving up to eight hours of continuous talk time.
The base also comes with an answering machine, which is especially useful when you're away from your home, as it enables callers to leave messages for you to listen to later. The recorded messages provides reassurance that you will never miss any important messages again.

The handset features four photo memory buttons that can be programmed with emergency numbers and your most-used contacts. The large photos or pictures added will provide a visual aid to help identify the contact, which is ideal for anybody who finds it difficult to remember the way in which the buttons have been programmed. The large buttons are also ideal for anybody with visual impairments or reduced dexterity, making the photos easier to see and operate.

How Do the Photo Buttons Work?
AmpliDECT 295 systems, both the base and handset versions, are equipped with photo speed dial buttons that allow you to contact your loved ones at the touch of a button. You can use this easy-to-use template to upload your own pictures, and then print them out in the right size for the photo phone buttons.
Please note that for base and handset combination sets, the memory buttons on the handset will retrieve the same set of direct memory speed dial entries stored in the base.
How Do I Apply the Photos?
The photo buttons can be flipped up, at which point you can easily insert the photos that you have cut to size. The diagram below shows the process of placing your photos into the photo buttons.
Can I Set A Distinct Ring for Each Caller?
Yes, you can set a different ring for each caller in your phonebook, allowing the user to easily identify the caller from the ring alone. Each AmpliDECT 295 handset features five standard rings and five polyphonic rings, while the base itself features five standard rings. This provides plenty of room for customisation to ensure important numbers can have a distinct ring.
Does This Phone Feature Caller ID?
Yes, this phone can display Caller ID, providing it is supplied in your current package by your service provider. It will store the last 50 numbers, allowing you to scroll back through your last calls for reference.
Does the Phone Light Up When Receiving a Call?
When an incoming call is detected, the red LED light at the top of each handset will illuminate. This light brightly and steadily flashes, clearly signifying that a call is on the line.
Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?
Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.
