How To Choose the Right Comfizz Ostomy Support
Comfizz offer a range of ostomy care and support for patients living with a stoma, who have recently undergone surgery, or want to manage hernias. Designed by people who have experienced the difficulties of normal support wear that either look bulky and draw unwanted attention from strangers, or aren’t suitable for outdoor activities, Comfizz products let you enjoy your independence with discreet protection.
As their range covers waistbands, underwear, belts, swimwear and other supports at a variety of levels, this handy guide will show you How To Choose The Right Comfizz Ostomy Support.
What Will This Guide Cover?
In order to ensure you select the right garment with the perfect fit, support and comfort, we'll cover:
Which Support Level Do You Need?
Level 1 – Light Support Wear
Designed to replace your regular underwear for all day comfort and protection, these garments offer light support. Although you’ll feel a slight pressure initially, they are not restrictive at all so you’ll soon forget you’re wearing them. They’re incredibly comfortable and ideal for those who require gentle support after a surgery or for every day wear if you live with a stoma.
We recommend: Comfizz Waistbands
Why You'll Love Them...
✔ Stretchy and flexible waistbands in a variety of colours
✔ Light and comfortable enough to wear all day and night
✔ Discreetly hides surgical site and stoma bag without restricting flow
Level 2 – Medium Support Wear
Just like the Level 1 graded garments, these can also be worn instead of your regular underwear. They will give you a tighter hug as the supportive fabric is twice as thick. Even though they’re firmer, they are not restrictive so they’re great for doing exercises or supporting hernias.
We recommend: Comfizz Unisex Boxers in Marine
Why You'll Love Them...
✔ Two-way soft stretch with virtually seamless fabric for enhanced comfort
✔ Breathable and high-wicking material keeps skin cool and dry
✔ Unisex design for both men and women in a bright cheerful colour
Level 3 – Firm Support Wear
Offering the highest level of support, these belts are designed to be worn for shorter periods as they are much firmer and more restrictive. They feature stabilising ribs to distribute the pressure evenly, making them ideal for supporting larger hernias or those doing heavy lifting or strenuous exercises.
We recommend: Comfizz Support Belts
