1. Flex your ankle and pull your toes up with one hand so that your foot is fully stretched out and extended. Anchor the KT Tape by sticking the first inch or so firmly onto the ball of your foot just after your toes to anchor the tape. With the beginning of the KT Tape secured down stretch the length of the KT Tape out as far as it will go then relax the stretch back in by about half the length leaving you with a 50% stretch and apply the tape in this stretched form along the sole of the foot and up the back of the ankle to secure it.
2. Place another length of tape on the outer part of the foot just before the heel and just hold the tape there as you run the length of it up the inside of your foot. Stick and secure it on the inside of the calf by sticking the first inch or so to the skin. Smooth and stick the tape down on the skin to the ankle bone. Stretch the tape as you then bring it round under the foot and stick it along the arch. Then relax the tape so it is not stretched as you stick the last bit down on the outside of your foot to secure it.
3. Apply the final length of KT tape over the last piece you applied, stick and anchor it just behind this piece and at an angle down towards your toes. Stretch the tape as you smooth it underneath your arch alongside the previous length of tape and then anchor it on the outside of the foot when it reaches this part.
