How Do You Find Your Podiatrist's CH Code?

Some of the products that we sell will require a referral from a healthcare expert before purchase. This includes some of the products in our shoe insole range that ask for a referral from a chiropodist or podiatrist. You can prove a referral by finding your practitioner's registration number, which in the case of chiropodists and podiatrists, will start with the letters CH.
Why Do You Need to Find a CH Number?
A number of products can only be bought if you are referred by a healthcare professional such as a GP, doctor or health specialist. Regulatory bodies such as the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), set a series of standards and laws that regulate the healthcare profession and within that, what products can and cannot be purchased without a referral.
Depending on their expertise, health practitioners will have a registration number beginning in two different letters. For example dietitians have a number that begins with DT, orthoptists have a number that begins with OR, and chiropodists and podiatrists have a number that begins with CH.
How Do You Obtain Your Chiropodist's and Podiatrist's CH Number?
Some of the shoe insoles that we sell require a direct recommendation from a chiropodist or podiatrist. If you have been referred, you can prove your referral by entering your CH code before completing the purchase on Health and Care.
All health care professionals have to be registered to the HCPC register. On the HCPC register you can find the full name of your specialist, their location and their CH number. You can find your healthcare professional on the register and their CH number by following these three simple steps:
Once you have obtained your CH number you will be able to enter this on the checkout page so that we can be sure that your insoles are right for you. If you would like any help with placing your order, please call our customer care team on 020 7720 2266.
