Helping the little people know when to sleep......

A common problem in summer for small children is when to sleep and when to be awake as they experience summer for the first few times. This is due to it staying light longer in the evenings and being lighter in the mornings some children think it’s still playtime! (including my Goddaughter!)

A solution that we have at Health and Care to help with this is The Gro Anywhere Portable Blackout Blind is fantastic for helping with creating a good sleeping environment; it’s a simple and cost effective way to blackout the room so they can sleep easy. This can be used on holidays or when visiting family or friends and even comes with a free handy travel bag.

Also it can be used with the Gro-clock Sleep Trainer as this shows the sun and the stars to help teach your child when it’s time to be awake and when it is time to sleep. It even has a story book to help explain the difference. I have many friends with children who love to be up early and the Gro-Clock range available from Health and Care helps give them a routine and structure, it can even be programmed with different time for the weekend to teach them about sleeping in.
