The Lincoln Ventoprene Ankle Brace is a zipped ankle support manufactured from the innovative Ventoprene. Ventorprene is a ventilated towelling lined Neoprene.

The zip of the Lincoln Ventoprene Ankle Brace is worn on the lateral aspect of the ankle and a flexible spiral stay gives good ankle support on the medial aspect of the ankle.

Also featuring a figure of eight strapping system the Lincoln Ankle Brace is designed to limit plantarflexion.

Thw Lincoln Ventoprene Ankle Brace is excellent for recovery from injury and prevention.

Ventilated towelling lined neoprene, Ventoprene, allows breathability and comfort to the user.

The Lincoln Ventoprene Ankle Brace comes in a stylish and discreet beige design.

Available in 3 sizes and is suitable for either left or right leg.

Foot drop support

This brace was bought as an alternative to a neoprene support for my foot drop. I found that neoprene straps stretched out and quickly became useless, but the straps on this brace are rigid. This brace is very good at keeping the foot up and in a good position, and in fact does it more comfortably than almost any brace I've used. It can be worn over a sock or on its own and is slim enough to fit into almost all my shoes, including fashionable ones. I like it so much that I have come back for a second one. There are a couple of negatives though: firstly you have to be dexterous to get it on and off, as it has to be pulled off the foot, and secondly it is not a pretty thing if it is visible, but I don't mind that as it's less ugly than the NHS alternative. The four stars are because it would be better in a skin colour rather than blue.

he item per se is ok but it took ages for the deleivery and it only happened after I made an enquiry about its whereabouts. That should not have been necessary.
