Anatomical Model Life-Size Skeleton

Teaching physiology can be difficult without the use of a skeleton; for visual learners, it's much easier if you show them where different parts of the body are on a model. The Anatomical Model Life-Size Skeleton has been specifically designed as a visual aid for teaching physiology and hygiene courses.

Aids Student Understanding

The Anatomical Skeleton Model helps students understand the relationship between the figure of the human body and the skeleton. The model provides a detailed overview of the structure of the body, and can also be used to study the morphology of the bones and the construction of joints.

How Tough Is the Skeleton?

The limbs of the model are constructed from a durable, unbreakable synthetic material for reliable use over time. The skeleton is made from PVC plastic which is both tough and easily wiped clean.

Moveable Parts

The skull, arms and legs of the Medical Skeleton Modem are detachable. Its skull is composed of 22 bones, a transversely cut Calvarium and a moveable mandible (i.e. lower jaw). Three of the skeleton's lower teeth (an incisor, cuspid and molar) are removable for hands-on, close-up examination.

Heavy Duty Stand Included

The Anatomical Model Skeleton is supplied complete with a stand and dust cover. The PVC plastic base is heavy-duty to ensure the skeleton remains intact and the stand doesn't topple over.

Portability

As the Skeleton features a number of removable parts, it means that it can be condensed down into a smaller package. This makes it easy to transport from A to B, perfect for universities and hospitals. In addition, the stand features rolling wheels to allow for easier relocation

Removable Arms and Legs

The hands and limbs on the Anatomical Model Life-Size Skeleton are built to genuine limb weight and the skeleton also features joints made out of stainless steel with a set of detachable arms and legs. These fully articulated pieces are an accurate and realistic depiction that allows for intricate inspection.

Bought this to aid my studies in soft tissue therapy. The detail on this model is more than sufficient to help me learn all the bony landmarks. The kids love it too!

It's really hard for me to leave a review as of yet as we haven't taken it out of the box, simply because this is a present for my daughter which she has ask for.

I can leave a review on delivery. Delivery was super fast for something so usual like this! Think this took something like one working day to be delivered. Great service.

I spent a fair bit of time trawling through various websites looking looking at skeletons in this price range. I needed one which was detailed enough to accurately pinpoint the origins and insertions of muscles, as well as having movable joints.

I was pleased with this model, as it did just that. Easy to assemble and move about on its castors. It came well packaged and promptly. Good value for the money. I would recommend this to anyone studying Anatomy. It has been excellent for anatomy for a qualification in Swedish Massage and Remedial and Sports Injuries.

The skeleton is quite heavy due to its solidly made nature. It can be put together very easily and comes complete with stand. The joints and limbs are articulated and it will be a useful teaching tool for patients and students.
