It comes in three sizes (stoma aperture 60mm, 75mm, or 90mm) in order to fit the largest range of devices as comfortably as possible.

This protective support is can be worn anywhere and everywhere. It provides protection for both planned hobbies and impromptu activity. It offers security during:

How Do I Wear the Comfizz Comfishield Ostomy Support?
Wearing the Comfishield is an easy two-step operation. First you place the soft back pad behind your ostomy bag. With the bag in place you easily affix the semi-rigid polymer protector.
How Do I Measure the Aperture of My Ostomy Bag?
To find out the aperture of your ostomy device simply measure the width of the aperture as shown in the diagram bellow. Comfishield sets are available with apertures of 60mm, 75mm or 90mm. Pick the most appropriate option for you from the drop-down menu above.
Is the Comfishield Discreet?
Since the Comfishield is designed to be worn under any clothing it can be a discreet device. However, the priority of the Comfishield is comprehensive protection and comfort so unlike some other Comfizz products it will not flatten the profile of your stoma and ostomy device.
What Level of Support Does the Comfizz Comfishield Ostomy Support Offer?
This device offers a different kind of support to other Comfizz products. It does not provide compression to the device, stoma and surrounding skin. Instead, it protects the ostomy device from unwanted pressure or unexpected contact to ensure it does not become damaged or develop leaks.
Is the Comfishield Comfortable?
The Comfishield comes with a specialised back pad. This prevents uncomfortable running against your skin and ensures that the polymer protector sits comfortably around your ostomy pouch.

How Will This Support Help With My Ostomy Pouch?
The Comfishield has been designed to offer advanced protection from pressure or unexpected impact on your ostomy device. It stops the maintenance of your pouch from preventing you from engaging in or enjoying everyday activities like playing with dogs or children, wearing a seatbelt or playing contact sports.
Will the Comfizz Comfishield Restrict the Flow of my Stoma?
No, the Comfishield sits around your ostomy pouch but does not put pressure on it. It should not, therefore, put any restriction on the flow of liquid stool from your stoma.
Is the Comfizz Comfishield Ostomy Support Appropriate for Sports?
Yes, the superior protection of the Comfishield allows you to play sport without worrying about damaging your pouch or causing leakage. In fact, the protection offered by this support is even enough to play contact sports.
Is the Comfizz Comfishield Machine Washable?
This support is machine washable at 30ºC, but hand washing is preferable. It must not be dry cleaned, ironed, tumble dried or bleached.
What Kind of Clothing Can I Wear the Comfishield With?
The Comfishield is designed to sit underneath your clothes independently without restricting your movement. As such, it is appropriate to almost any clothing.
What Is a Comfizz Ostomy Support Made From?
The support plate is made using a semi-rigid polymer compound material. The support itself is made using 100% polyester.

How to Claim Your VAT Exemption
VAT exemption can be claimed in two ways – either when placing your or order or claiming back the VAT on a purchase that you have already made.
