HP Series Safety Helmets

The HP Series Safety Helmets are available with a nylon web or PE harness head support and features a foam lined sweatband. The rain gutter of the HP Series Safety Helmets prevents any water from disturbing the wearers view. The HP Series Safety Helmets are fully adjustable and have fixing points for an optional chin strap.

Additional information about the HP Series Safety Helmets:

Cleaning: Clean with a mild detergent. Do not use paints, solvents, chemicals, adhesives, petrol or similar substances on this helmet.

Disinfection: The parts of this product in contact with the skin should be disinfected periodically (at least once every 3 months) with a suitable disinfectant solution.

Storage: Always in store in clean, dry conditions and contained within the polybag/box provided. Do not store in places subject to direct, strong sunlight or in contact with solvents.

Damage: This product should be carefully inspected before use and discarded if damaged in anyway whatsover.

Chemicals: Certain chemicals may have a detrimental effect on contact with this product. If in doubt please check with your supplier.

Material Declaration: No parts of the helmet which are in contact with the wearer are made from materials known to cause skin irritation.

Instructions of use:

Install the suspension to the helmet by inserting the 4/6 suspension hanger keys to the 4/6 key slots of the helmet. (Further detailed assembly instructions are printed on the polybags).

If a chin strap is used, insert the hooks into the two chin strap attachment holes on the side of the helmet.

This is a one size helmet and should be adjusted to fit by moving the pin to the appropriate ratchet hold at the nape of the neck.

Helmet size range: 52 - 60cm

If the chin strap is used, adjust the buckle until the helmet feels comfortable and snug to the head.

Warnings associates with protective headwear:

• Do not deface or modify the helmet with stickers, paints or indentations other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not adapt the helmet to accept fitting or attachments not specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
• Inspect the helmet and cradle daily and before use. Replace the helmet immediately if there are any signs of damage or if the helmet has been subject to a major impact even if no damage is apparent.
• This industrial head protection has been designed, tested and manufactured in accordance with the above mentioned standards - "General requirements for head protection covering - Fitness for purpose, design and construction, sizing, comfort and efficiency."

Industrial safety helmets are intended primarily to protect the upper part of ther wearer's head against injury from falling object (and consequential brain injury and skull fracture). The are not intended to protect against molten metal splash or to offer electrical insulation.
