Harvest Reflect Pressure Relief Cushion

For patients with low mobility, such as those in a wheelchair, the use of a pressure relieving cushion is important to reduce the risk of pressure sore development. The Harvest Reflect Pressure Relief Cushion is comprised of two separate foam layers, resulting in a pressure relieving effect that is suitable for users at high risk of developing pressure ulcers.

Castellated, Layered Foam

The high levels of pressure relief that that cushion provides come from its use of two layers of foam: a high density PVC anti-slip base and a castellated viscoelastic layer on top. The castellated top layer ensures that weight distribution across the cushion is even, as well as allowing the foam to breathe, preventing overheating and boosting comfort. The high density foam base provides structure to the top layer, and assists in providing a stable and secure sitting experience.

Hygienic, Breathable Cover

Foam cushions can provide excellent levels of comfort and pressure relief, but if not properly protected, can lose their shape and efficacy over time. This cushion comes with a specially designed two-way stretch vapour permeable cover, designed to protect the cushion while allowing it to breath. The waterproof properties of the cover protect the cushion from spills and fluids while still allowing the cushion to breath and retain its bounce-back and shape.

Comfortable, just right for pressure relief.

I bought this cushion to use with a chair that I use a lot. The material is not too soft and offers good support. It is also easy to clean. It isn't cheap but you get what you pay for and it will last many years.

Not as comfortabe as expected

Bought this as an addition to my sitting up sleep position in bed although had home made foam pad which was working OK. I found this pad very hard and it was not as cofortable as expected, it was also a struggle getting on top of it in bed because of the height. It is OK on a chair so am getting the use from it that way. I was concerned about the writing on top of it but had that explained by your firm. Concern has gone though because all the wriing on the top of it is now virtually invisible with it flaking off the cushion like dandruff

Bought this for my mum who is not very mobile & sits in her chair all day. She has really felt the benefit after only a couple of days & says it is very comfortable. It is easy to clean.
