Manufactured with improved patient comfort and safety in mind, Medline Single Tread Socks are PPE certified, providing trusts and individuals with an inexpensive and affordable option for maximising comfort and safety.

How Do Medline Single Tread Slipper Socks Feel?

The Medline Single Tread Slipper Socks are designed primarily as a single-use item. This is mainly advised for hospitals and care homes, where there is a risk of patients' socks becoming mixed-up. However, if you are using the socks yourself or for a single user, they should last for at least a few washes before the socks become damaged.

I purchased these slipper socks for my elderly mother to facilitate night visits to the bathroom. While adequate for summer wear they are too thin to keep her warm in winter so felt the designation 'slipper' to be misleading. I anticipated a thicker weave. The purchase response time and delivery service were excellent.

Whilst Medline manufacture their socks to retain heat and keep the user's feet warm, their non-slip design is also a vital aspect of their construction. They are designed to grip the floor and prevent slips and falls, which is unfortunately not possible with a thicker, bulkier pair of socks.

If you're looking for something that prioritises heat-retention, we recommend taking a look at 12% Silver Socks. They are designed to retain any heat the body generates, making them ideal for elderly and less mobile individuals.

Good socks if you have difficulty in getting docks or slippers on. My husband has had swollen legs and feet for years and we have struggled to fine anything to cover then and for him not to slip
