The Bodymedics Philadelphia Collar is a comfortable and supportive neck brace that is ideal for use following a number of cervical spine injuries and conditions. Combining a comfortable contoured moulded foam shell with rigid occipital and mandibular supports, the Philadelphia Collar provides the optimal combination of comfort. and firm stabilisation.

Indications for Use

The Philadelphia Collar provides moderate to firm control of the cervical area, reduces rotation and slightly hyperextends the cervical spine, making it suitable for a variety of conditions. Recommendations for use include:

Cervical spondylosis
Cervical support
Degenerate cervical spine
Head drop
Motor neurone disease
Post-trauma cervical spondylitis
Rheumatoid and osteoarthritis of the cervical spine

Sizing of the Bodymedics Philadelphia Collar

The Bodymedics Philadelphia Collar is available in a variety of sizes to ensure a perfect fit.

The obtain your size, first measure the circumference of your neck around the Adam's apple. This will give you the correct size of collar - small, medium, large or extra large. If on the threshold between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the greater.

Then, take a measurement from the tip of the chin, in a straight line, to the top of the sternum or sternal notch. This will give you the correct height of collar. If on the threshold between two heights, it is recommended to choose the smaller.

Light and easy to use

This is great for the exceptional pain days when you want to keep your head and neck still due to pain. It is lightweight and easy to use and gives just enough support but not with the discomfort of most stiff collars.
