Post-Operative Knee Brace

The Post-Operative Knee Brace provides immobilisation and range-of-motion (ROM) control following knee surgery. It features adjustable dial lock hinges and a one-touch bottom for ease of adjustment, thus providing optimal support during the course of healing.

Indications of the Knee Brace

The Post-Operative Knee Brace has been designed to provide support following surgery. It is suitable for use after operations on specific parts of the knee, including:

• Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)
• Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL)
• Medial collateral ligament (MCL)
• Lateral collateral ligament (LCL)

It provides immobilisation for injured ligaments, while offering ROM control to ensure suitable healing of the ligaments following surgery.

Functions of the Knee Brace

The knee brace provides collateral stabilisation through the use of long side bars, which prevents valgus and varus deviation. It also prevents hyperextension and limits ROM through adjustable dial lock hinges. This is done by simply pressing and rotating the settings, ensuring that wearing the brace is as free from stress as possible.

With a one-push bottom providing easy length adjustment, the brace is straightforward to alter to suit changing requirements during recovery.
