It's vital that the elderly and hard of hearing can continue to comfortably use the telephone – it's an important lifeline to the outside world. It's also important that in the case of an emergency they can get the help they need as quickly as possible. A great phone for the elderly, the Geemarc Serenities Amplified Telephone with Emergency Response Wristband provides both ease of phone communication and an alarm in case of emergency in one handy device. 

Louder Sound

The Serenities Telephone provides a receiver volume up to 30dB, which is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss. This amplification makes phone conversations louder and easier to hear for more harmonious communication. 

Clearer Sound

As well as featuring louder sound, the Serenities also features a four-level adjustable receiving tone control. This helps individuals to cater their telephone's sound to their specific type of hearing loss, making conversations clearer as well as louder.

Emergency Response Transmitter

The included emergency response transmitter is designed to make it easier for the elderly to get help and assistance in case of an emergency.

When activated, the transmitter will automatically dial five phone numbers (using the Serenities telephone) to alert friends and family that you need help. With a range of approximately 20 - 30 metres, you can be sure that during an emergency help is never too far behind. 

Big Bright Screen

The large LCD screen utilises big characters with a clear readout to make the phone easier to use. With this big screen and a simple menu system, the phone is fantastically easy to use.

Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?

Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.

Durable Wristband

The wristband included with your amplified telephone is designed to stay attached and working through the majority of your daily routines and activities. Certified as both splash and steam proof, you will have peace of mind that the wristband will be ready to help whether you're doing laundry, cooking in the kitchen or doing almost anything else.

The pendant also features a clip, giving you the option to wear it around the neck or the wrist. You can pair up to four wristbands to your system, and you can add an extra wristband to your order using the tick box near the top of the page.

Delivery Information

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and often dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Bought one of these for father in law after he had a stay in hospital. It was exactly what we needed for him for both his and our peace of mind, have tried it out a few times to call from his pendant as a test and it works exactly as described.
Highly recommended product.

Purchased for elderly mother with hearing loss. Easy to set up and use. However emergency wristband assistance a little disappointing as when it connects to the responder the caller and responder can only hear each other if the caller is in the same room as the telephone. Therefore iF the phone is placed in the lounge and the assistance button is pressed from say upstairs or the garden, once the call is connected neither party can hear each other. The other disappointment I have is with Health and Care company as I completed and returned the VAT refund form and also emailed a query to them about this and to date have not received either a response to the email nor the refund of VAT which my mother is due.
