What Are Dexterity Tests?

Dexterity is the ability of an individual to perform tasks with their fingers, hands and arms. Dexterity tests allow staffing agenceies to compare individual test results with normative data in order to determine a person's skill level. The O'Connor Dexterity Test simply requires the user to pick up the pins with supplied tweezers and place them in a series of holes. A high score on this test indicates manual aptitude for work involving the use of small precision tools, such as the assembly of clocks or watches.
