The answering machine has 15 minutes of recording time (approximately 60 messages).  The Geemarc Amplidect 285 has an adjustable volume control up to 30dB and an adjustable receiving tone control (+/-10dB).  The volume and tone control can be adjusted from the handset for greater ease of use.
