The Battery Powered has many uses for security and patient care applications. It can be fixed to a wall permanently, fixed with hook & loop fastenings or simply placed on a tabletop or floor. If a person walks within the beam range (up to 10 Metres) a signal is transmitted to the KS-4 to activate the pre-selected alarm channel. The Battery Powered can be used to detect a person leaving their bed by placing the unit on the floor aimed down the side or foot of their bed. As the legs enter the beam the alarm signal is sent. The unit can easily be moved from room-to-room for different patients.
