This amplified telephone is ideal if you are hard of hearing or if you are a hearing aid user. The incoming ringing volume is 90 db and the listening/receiver volume is 40 db (the volume of a normal telephone is 8 - 10 decibels, so the Amplicom Powertel 49 Plus is approximately 4 to 5 times as loud as a regular telephone).

The PowerTel 49 Plus Amplified Telephone comes with the option of two programmable emergency numbers. This amplified telephone also features a 32 name and number electronic phone book. This amplified telephone for the hard of hearing provides suberb performance at a great price.

The Power Tel 49 Plus amplified desk phone is hearing aid compatible.
